      Hi,

I'm a new Spresense user. I'm trying to get my board working for the first time. I'm on Ubuntu Linux 18.04.

I installed the SDK and tried to use the flash.sh script. It just hung.
I also tried to use the Arduino IDE, installed the Spresense board, but burning the bootloader also hangs with no output.

Now when I do lsusb, I do not see the /dev/ttyUSB0 device.

Does anyone know how to proceed? How do I burn the initial bootloader so I can upload programs to the board?

      cheers

        Hi @adamfeuer

it would help a lot if you would provide the exact steps you did.
But one issue that we have seen is that with some USB cables you can't flash at the highest baud rates.

Have you seen this page: sdk setup
